Watch: Uzumaki (2024) HBO MAX

Uzumaki is the anime adaptation of the infamous horror manga of the same name by Junji Ito. With cursed production (https://www.vulture.com/article/uzumaki-anime-release-date-trailer.html), delaying the show’s release for over five years, it’s amazing to finally see it finished. The saga of a beach town haunted by spirals is known as a horror classic for a reason, and the adaptation nails the spooky vibes. Episodes are a tight 30 minutes, and perfect for a little mind bend before bed.

Pair Uzumaki with a red you can swirl into a spiral to match the show, like a young Nebbiolo or Syrah.
